3. Donations

AppealChange accepts both one-time and recurring monthly donations.

All donations are voluntary and are processed securely through Stripe.

By making a donation, you confirm that:

  • You are authorised to use the payment method provided.
  • The information you provide is accurate and complete.
  • You understand that donations are generally non-refundable except as outlined in our Refund Policy.

4. Use of Donations

AppealChange will make reasonable efforts to use donations for the appeal, campaign, or charitable purpose selected by the donor.

Where circumstances prevent funds from being used exactly as intended, including where projects become fully funded, impractical, unsafe, delayed, or impossible to complete, AppealChange reserves the right to redirect funds to similar charitable purposes or areas of greatest need consistent with our charitable objectives.

5. Gift Aid

Where applicable, UK taxpayers may choose to claim Gift Aid.

By making a Gift Aid declaration, you confirm that:

  • You are a UK taxpayer.
  • You have paid sufficient UK Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover the Gift Aid claimed on your donations.
  • The information provided is accurate.

AppealChange reserves the right to amend or remove Gift Aid claims where information provided is inaccurate or incomplete.

6. Recurring Donations

Monthly donations will continue automatically until cancelled by the donor.

Donors may cancel recurring donations at any time by contacting AppealChange or managing their payment method where available.

Cancellation will prevent future payments but will not automatically refund donations already processed.

7. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the website for unlawful purposes.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data.
  • Upload malicious software or harmful content.
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the website.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
