- Recurring monthly donations
All donations made through our website are processed securely via Stripe.
By making a donation, you confirm that:
- You are authorised to use the payment method provided.
- The information supplied is accurate and complete.
- The donation is made voluntarily and in good faith.
3. How Donations Are Used
Donations received by AppealChange are used to support our charitable purposes, including but not limited to:
- Emergency humanitarian relief

4. Restricted and Unrestricted Donations
Where a donor contributes to a specific campaign, appeal, or project, AppealChange will make reasonable efforts to use those funds for the intended purpose.
However, if:
- The funding target is exceeded,
- The project becomes impractical or unsafe,
- Circumstances change significantly,
- The project can no longer be completed,
AppealChange reserves the right to redirect funds to similar charitable activities or areas of greatest need that align with the organisation’s mission.
5. Palestine Emergency Fund
Donations made to the Palestine Emergency Fund will be used to support humanitarian assistance and relief efforts for affected communities.
This may include:
- Food and nutrition support
- Clean water and sanitation
- Emergency medical assistance
- Shelter and essential supplies
- Protection and welfare support
- Other urgent humanitarian needs arising from the crisis
Where necessary and appropriate, funds may be allocated to closely related humanitarian relief efforts that support individuals and communities affected by the emergency.
6. Gift Aid
Eligible UK taxpayers may increase the value of their donation through Gift Aid.
By making a Gift Aid declaration, donors confirm that:
- They are a UK taxpayer.
- They have paid sufficient Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover the Gift Aid claimed on their donations.
- The information provided is accurate.
AppealChange will claim Gift Aid in accordance with HMRC regulations.
7. Monthly Donations
Recurring donations will continue automatically until cancelled by the donor.
Donors may cancel recurring donations at any time.
Cancellation will prevent future donations from being collected but will not automatically refund donations that have already been processed.
8. Donation Receipts
Where an email address is provided, AppealChange may issue an electronic donation receipt or confirmation.
Donors are responsible for ensuring that their contact details are accurate and up to date.
9. Refunds
Donations are generally non-refundable.
Refunds may be considered in circumstances including:
- Duplicate donations
- Incorrect donation amounts entered by mistake
- Technical payment processing errors
- Unauthorised transactions
